Featuring some of the best schools in Orange County, Fountain Park is close to Huntington Beach and contains some of the area’s best golf courses. New developments are coming to the site soon, making the area an up-and-coming destination for those wishing to relocate.
Thing to Do
Mile Square Park, which totals 640 acres of land, is one of Fountain Valley’s most frequented hot spots. Within the park's boundaries are three regulation golf courses, two regulation soccer fields, baseball and softball diamonds, plus an archery range and wilderness area. Two fishing lakes, concession-operated bike and paddle boat stands, and a vast expanse of picnic areas and shelters are also located here.
Taste of Fountain Valley, an annual food and beverage fundraiser, takes guests on a local food tour of the area, offering a sampling of great eats from local vendors. There’s also a strong shopping culture here, with four different outdoor malls dominating the retail landscape.
